    • Role Summary
    • In this role, you will fabricate interconnecting cables and harnesses per engineering drawings, troubleshoot and maintain test bench and lab infrastructure equipment, and support aircraft wiring and assembly to meet strict quality and safety standards.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • High School Diploma required; Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical aircraft wiring, electrical systems, or related support.
    • Must be able to read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings.
    • Ability to solder to J-STD standards and crimp/assemble connector contacts and cable assemblies to aircraft standards.
    • Familiarity with serial data interfaces including ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, RS422, RS232, Ethernet, IEEE-488.
    • Experience installing fiber optic cabling for reflective memory hardware.
    • Ability to use hand tools and shop equipment safely, including hand drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, and soldering tools.
    • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
    • US Citizenship required; must be able to obtain a clearance if needed.

    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Fabricate interconnecting cables and harnesses according to engineering drawings.
    • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of test bench and lab infrastructure equipment.
    • Read and interpret aircraft-level wiring diagrams and mechanical drawings for assemblies.
    • Wire and test serial data interfaces and fiber optic connections.
    • Use appropriate hand tools and shop equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Follow all safety, quality, ESD, and FOD protocols.
    • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in confined areas for extended periods.
    • Onsite work required at Bell Textron Plant 6, 1st shift (07:00 AM – 03:30 PM).
    • Work in a manufacturing/lab environment with potential exposure to electrical hazards, shop equipment, and moving parts.
