    • Role Summary
    • This role is responsible for supporting the development, verification, and validation of technical publications for military and commercial derivative aircraft programs. The specialist interprets engineering, reliability, and logistics data to develop maintenance instructions and support products for new aircraft programs. The position requires working closely with interdisciplinary teams, following established processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards while operating under general supervision.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in an aerospace or related technical discipline preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience with aircraft maintenance and/or modifications.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience interpreting engineering data for inclusion in maintenance manuals or technical publications.
    • Ability to work onsite in San Antonio, TX, and be flexible for 1st and 2nd shift as needed.
    • Successful completion of OJT or formal classroom training is required.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and workflow management tools.

    • Preferred Skills
    • 2+ years of experience authoring in eMOD.
    • 2+ years of experience using SLICwave.
    • 1+ years of experience with Technical Publications Validation/Verification.
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Interpret and analyze engineering, reliability, maintainability, supply chain, and customer operations data to develop maintenance instructions.
    • Provide recommendations on product supportability and define maintenance tasks and support resources.
    • Identify and analyze logistics support candidates and develop associated analysis records and reports.
    • Write, maintain, and update technical documentation for operating, testing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft systems and components.
    • Review logistics support analysis reports and develop or revise initial maintenance instructions for continued airworthiness (ICA).
    • Track and status completion of tasks using Boeing workflow management tools.
    • Perform quality checks on completed maintenance tasks.
    • Influence maintenance approach and product design to ensure supportability and maintainability.
    • Validate the quality and accuracy of completed maintenance tasks.
    • Work collaboratively with internal teams and stakeholders to meet project deadlines.
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Onsite work at San Antonio, TX.
    • Ability to work primarily 1st shift with flexibility for 2nd shift as needed.
    • Exposure to standard office and production environments with occasional domestic travel (up to 10%).
    • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
