Job Description
The Production Assembler performs assembly operations on structural, mechanical, and electrical assemblies and subassemblies in a production environment. This role includes identifying parts and tooling, interpreting technical work instructions, drawings, and schematics, using hand tools and test equipment, inspecting work for quality and foreign object debris, documenting production activity using computers, wearing appropriate protective clothing, and supporting defect-free assembly in compliance with safety, regulatory, and organizational standards. The assembler will complete required training, follow established procedures, and support domestic travel requirements as assigned.

- Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications
- Ability to read, interpret, and comprehend technical work instructions, drawings, specifications, and schematics
- Ability to use a computer in a production environment

- Job Duties & Functions
- Perform production assembly operations on structural, mechanical, and electrical assemblies and subassemblies
- Identify required parts, tools, and equipment to complete assignments
- Read and interpret technical work instructions, drawings, and specifications
- Use hand tools, including screwdrivers, ratchets, power screwdrivers, multimeters, crimpers, and torque tools
- Inspect completed work for quality and ensure removal of foreign object debris
- Use a computer to access work instructions and document production activity
- Wear appropriate protective clothing and equipment as required
- Adhere to safety procedures and compliance regulations
- Complete required classroom and on-the-job training
- Support domestic travel requirements as assigned
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Ability to lift and carry 10–35 pounds
- Finger manipulation, including keyboarding
- Ability to read from a computer screen and printed documents
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching overhead, twisting, and head and neck movement
- Ability to work onsite in a production environment
