Job Description

Perform troubleshooting, repair, installation, inspection, and maintenance on customer aircraft, including support in avionics, structures, and composites. Conduct mechanical and electrical removals and installations, document work per applicable manuals and regulations, and return aircraft to service at off-site locations. Audit assigned location and tools, perform Delegated Inspector (DI) functions as qualified, and adhere to Bombardier’s general work, safety, and environmental requirements. Communicate aircraft status to customers, operate independently in unsupervised settings, and support unscheduled travel and overtime assignments as needed.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    • Airframe and Powerplant License.
    • A minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
    • A minimum of 1 year of experience on Bombardier aircraft models.
    • Valid driver’s license and insurable status.
    • Ability to work unsupervised, on overnight shifts, and in seasonal/inclement weather.
    • Ability to travel on short notice, including extended assignments up to 30 days.
    • Possess a valid passport and the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.
    • Experience with aircraft return to service and inspection procedures.
    • Regular and predictable attendance.
    • U.S. Person for purposes of export compliance.
    • Job Duties & Functions

    • Document all work in accordance with applicable manuals and regulatory requirements.
    • Return aircraft to service at off-site locations.
    • Audit personal location, truck, and tool inventory.
    • Perform Delegated Inspector (DI) duties as qualified.
    • Communicate aircraft status effectively with customers and team members.
    • Operate independently in unsupervised environments.
    • Work unscheduled overtime, holidays, overnight shifts, and travel assignments as required.

    • Ability to work outdoors in seasonal or inclement weather conditions.
    • Ability to travel and work at off-site locations as required.
