Job Description

Coordinate and manage materials within the warehouse environment, including routing materials to storage locations, conducting inventory, issuing materials for production or shipment, and maintaining accurate records. Perform analysis of material requirements, scheduling, and inventory levels to ensure availability of sufficient materials to meet production demands. Follow safety, housekeeping, and quality control procedures, including tool control, FOD prevention, and compliance with all relevant regulations. Order parts, tools, and equipment as required, resolve material-related issues, and perform other duties as assigned to support operational and program requirements.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g., High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate+2 years of related work, Bachelor, etc.).
    • Military background.
    • Ability to successfully complete required training (OJT or formal classroom).
    • Ability to obtain a forklift license or currently possess one.
    • Computer experience and competency required.
    • Regular and predictable attendance.
    • U.S. Person for purposes of export compliance.
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Route materials to prescribed storage locations in accordance with storage procedures.
    • Conduct an inventory of stored materials and report deterioration or damage.
    • Remove and issue materials from storage and prepare for shipment.
    • Perform assigned duties while wearing required safety equipment and working in all shifts and conditions.
    • Order parts, tools, materials, and equipment as required to complete tasks.
    • Comply with all health, safety, tool control, FOD, contract, facilities, housekeeping, and inventory regulations.
    • Review and analyze production scheduling requirements to determine materials and actions necessary to meet schedules.
    • Identify, investigate, analyze, and coordinate resolution of material-related problems to ensure adherence to quality standards, schedules, and budgets.
    • Perform in-depth analysis of complex problems related to material requirements, inventories, schedules, and configuration control as needed.
    • Perform other duties as directed by supervision and management to support the company, program, and employees.
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
    • Ability to work on variable shifts and perform repetitive warehouse tasks.
