TeamGlobal: where aviation careers take off.#Role SummaryIn this role, you will perform maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and inspection of ground support equipment and aviation systems in support of flightline operations at Maxwell AFB. You will be responsible for maintaining and tracking GSE equipment, conducting functional testing, completing inspections, and supporting mission readiness for MH-139 operations. You will work under general direction, assist with training less experienced technicians, and support shifting operational needs. Regular and predictable attendance is required, and on-site training will be provided.
- Education & Job Requirements
- You must have
- High school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 4 years of aviation maintenance experience.
- Military aviation maintenance background.
- Ability to work effectively in small group environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and isolate faulty components.
- Ability to conduct functional tests using appropriate test equipment.
- Ability to document maintenance and inspection actions as required.
- Ability to support first and second shift schedules, with flexibility to work all shifts based on program needs.
- U.S. Person status for export compliance purposes.
- Job Duties & Functions
- You will be able to
- Maintain, repair, replace, and upgrade equipment and system components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to identify and correct failures.
- Conduct complex functional testing by operating equipment and test instruments.
- Perform inspections in accordance with applicable maintenance documentation.
- Document all maintenance, inspection, and repair actions accurately.
- Train and assist less experienced technicians in maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
- Maintain and track ground support equipment and aerospace ground equipment.
- Learn and adapt to unique equipment associated with MH-139 aircraft operations.
- Assist with flightline operations as required to support team needs.
- Perform weapons repair tasks and complete inspections to support flight schedules.
- Support shifting operational demands, including schedule and workload changes.
- Physical Requirements
- Able to
- Climb and work at heights as required.
- Stand for extended durations during maintenance and inspection activities.
- Lift up to 40 pounds unassisted.
- Work around hazardous materials, including aircraft oils, lubricants, and solvents.
