- Role Summary
- In this role, you will perform structural stress analysis to ensure aircraft structures meet strength, durability, damage tolerance, and certification requirements throughout the product lifecycle.
- Education & Job Requirements
- You must have
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
- A minimum of 12 years of related work experience in aircraft stress analysis.
- Experience performing structural analysis on metallic and/or composite aircraft structures.
- Experience using analytical methods, finite element models, simulations, and analysis tools.
- Experience supporting product design and verifying structural integrity across the product lifecycle.
- Experience in defining and documenting certification and test results for regulatory compliance.
- Ability to work under minimal direction.
- Ability to work onsite full-time.
- Ability to meet U.S. export compliance requirements.
- Job Duties & Functions
- You will be able
- Coordinate with engineering groups to establish the product's structural environment.
- Support product design by verifying structural integrity using analytical methods and finite element analysis.
- Develop structural characteristics and performance data throughout the product lifecycle.
- Define and document certification and test results to demonstrate compliance with requirements.
- Support analysis activities across fuselage, wing, and empennage, propulsion structures, systems stress, interiors stress, and seats stress disciplines.
