- Role Summary
- In this role, you will provide senior-level numerical control programming expertise to support aerospace manufacturing through the development, verification, and implementation of machine control data and machining processes.
- Education & Job Requirements
- You must have
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings.
- A minimum of 12 years of work-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
- OR a minimum of 10 years of work-related experience with a Master’s degree.
- OR work-related experience with a PhD.
- A degree in a related field such as Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineering Technology.
- Ability to work onsite full-time.
- Eligibility to meet U.S. export compliance requirements.
- Job Duties & Functions
- You will be able
- Consult with internal and external stakeholders to develop technical requirements for numerical control and manufacturing processes.
- Identify equipment and machining approaches to support numerical control programming requirements.
- Resolve manufacturing and production process concerns related to numerical control operations.
- Manage the implementation of new and revised computing applications for design, machining, or inspection systems.
- Create, verify, and revise Machine Control Data, geometry, and documentation for multi-axis numerically controlled machines.
- Provide numerical control, machining, and programming technical expertise to fabrication teams.
- Support aerospace component manufacturing from engineering concept through shop floor execution.
- Train and mentor others under consultative direction.
