Avionics Technician

Job Description

Adhere to general work requirements while repairing, modifying, and servicing aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic equipment with limited supervision. Operate ground support equipment and industrial vehicles such as scissor/boom lifts and forklifts. Maintain an inventory of hand tools and use electrical engineering drawings to complete assigned tasks. Perform aircraft inspections under appropriate oversight and document work per manuals and regulatory requirements. Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies while participating in 5-S activities. Perform all work safely and efficiently and demonstrate basic PC skills as required.

• Education & Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• A minimum of 2 years of Avionics/Electrical aircraft Technical school or substantiated equivalent, such as FCC/GROL License, NCATT/AET Certification, FAA A&P License, or Military qualifications
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form

• Perform work in a safe and timely manner
• Demonstrate basic PC skills as required
