- Role Summary
- In this role you will be working in a high-paced environment where attention to safety and quality is critical while assisting with the processing and movement of production and other materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions, monitoring work in process, posting updates to automated systems to ensure parts availability, identifying problems or discrepancies with parts and materials, assisting within the work group to expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays, and working under close supervision.
- Education & Job Requirements
- You must have
- A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 year of work-related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, such as vocational school or an Associate degree.
- A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
- Good attention to detail and compliance to standards.
- Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
- Computer usage skills.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Inventory control practices experience.
- Materials handling experience.
- Materials management experience.
- Parts inventory experience.
- A quality mindset.
- Knowledge of safety practices.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Successful completion of required on-the-job or formal classroom training.
- Eligibility to meet U.S. person requirements for export compliance.
- Job Duties & Functions
- You will be able
- Process and move production and other materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations following standard work instructions.
- Monitor work in process.
- Communicate the status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to ensure parts availability.
- Identify and solve problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes.
- Coordinate with various functions to set priorities, expedite, and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays.
- Work under general supervision.
- Physical Requirements
- Able to
- Operate a forklift.
- Lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
- Stand and walk regularly throughout the day, including occasional stair use.
