    • Role Summary
    • In this role you will perform electrical and electronic assembly for aerospace composite components and subassemblies, including carbon fiber, fiberglass, and other lightweight materials. You will operate automated lay-up machines, perform hand-lay-up processes, and follow engineering drawings and blueprints to fabricate parts for NASA’s SLS program. You will maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following NASA safety standards.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • You must have
    • A high school diploma or GED.
    • A minimum of 3 years of electrical installation and assembly experience.
    • The ability to read and interpret electrical blueprint drawings.
    • Comfortable working at heights using lifts or similar equipment.
    • The ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
    • U.S. Person status for purposes of export compliance.
    • Experience with aerospace composite materials and assembly processes.
    • Experience supporting NASA or other space-related projects.
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • You will be able
    • Perform composite fabrication and assembly using automated and hand-lay-up methods.
    • Select and use correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, standards, and hardware in accordance with planned operations.
    • Report defects, errors, or process issues in accordance with company procedures.
    • Prepare test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to support testing.
    • Apply routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.
    • Follow all safety procedures, wear appropriate protective equipment, and maintain FOD-free work areas.
    • Install electrical composition on the SLS rocket and support other electrical needs across the site as required.
    • Physical Requirements
    • Able to
    • Stand for extended periods, bend down, and crawl into confined spaces.
    • Lift 10 pounds or more and work at heights using lift equipment.
    • Comply with NASA safety-sensitive requirements, including use of badge access and safety gear.
