Job Description
Install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain complex avionics and electrical systems on corporate or commercial aircraft in accordance with regulatory and company standards. Diagnose system discrepancies, remove and reinstall components, and ensure aircraft readiness prior to release. Perform all work in compliance with approved manuals while maintaining accurate and detailed documentation. Support production and maintenance operations in a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and technical precision.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of work experience or substantiated equivalent experience.
- MRO experience, CRJ airframe experience, and/or Military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot/Isochronal/Phase inspections) are a plus.
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant license or FAA Airframe license.
- Personal set of tools.
- Ability to effectively communicate aircraft maintenance actions in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Preferred Skills
- GROL certification or Aircraft Electronics Technician certification.
- Certification from an avionics or electrical aircraft technical school or equivalent military training.
- Job Duties & Functions
- Install and test complex avionics equipment and electrical systems on aircraft.
- Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform and document all work in accordance with applicable manuals and regulatory requirements.
- Remove, repair, and reinstall avionics equipment prior to aircraft release.
- Assemble and install electrical components.
- Operate ground support equipment as required.
- Accurately diagnose avionics system issues.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all repairs and work performed on aircraft.
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Ability to work in hangar or production environments with exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
- Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces.
- Ability to lift and maneuver tools, equipment, and aircraft components as required.
- Ability to work extended shifts in a fast-paced maintenance setting.
