    • Role Summary
    • We are seeking Senior Payloads Design Engineers to support the Interiors Team of our client in Everett, WA, and Renton, WA. This role covers the product lifecycle, including customer configuration development, supplier engagement, validating design requirements, and supporting production and certification. The candidate will collaborate with project engineering, production engineering, program and product teams, management, and technical staff to deliver high-quality interior products.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • You must have
    • A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Materials Sciences.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering, including design, integration, and/or certification, or an equivalent combination of additional education and relevant experience.
    • Experience leading a cross-functional team.
    • Preferred Skills
    • You will have
    • A strong understanding and demonstrated experience with FAA Title 14 Part 25 and/or EASA equivalent.
    • Experience in aerospace interiors, materials and properties, design criteria, and release processes.
    • A demonstrated problem-solving skill and critical thinking.
    • An ability to use a variety of media to clearly convey information and ideas to a variety of audiences.
    • A demonstrated interest in continuous personal learning and development.
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • You will be able
    • Lead the development, integration, and documentation of interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
    • Perform or oversee approval of analyses and test or inspection results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
    • Lead teams on managing supplier performance, test and production activities, and coordinate with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
    • Lead the development of new design and analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality, and efficiency of the development effort.
    • Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
    • Lead teams to develop, maintain, and modify structural and interior payload system and component design using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and other design methods to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers, and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
