    • Role Summary
    • We are seeking Payloads Design Engineers (Associate or Experienced) to support the Interiors Team of our client in Everett, WA, and Renton, WA. This role covers the product lifecycle, including customer configuration development, supplier engagement, validating design requirements, and supporting production and certification. The candidate will collaborate with engineering, production, program, and technical teams to deliver high-quality interior products.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • You must have
    • A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Materials Sciences.
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience in aerospace engineering, design criteria, and engineering release processes.
    • Preferred Skills
    • You will have
    • A basic understanding and demonstrated experience with FAA Title 14 Part 25 and/or EASA equivalent.
    • Experience in aerospace interiors, materials and properties, design criteria, and release processes.
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience in program or project management, leading project and program proposals of varying complexity, including development and execution of schedule milestones, financial assessments, resource assessments, and risk or issues management.
    • Experience working in a cross-functional team.
    • A demonstrated problem-solving skill and critical thinking.
    • The ability to use a variety of media to clearly convey information and ideas to a variety of audiences.
    • A demonstrated interest in continuous personal learning and development.
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • You will be able to
    • Assist in developing, integrating, and documenting structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
    • Develop, maintain, and modify basic structural and interior payload system and component designs using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and other design methods to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers, and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Perform tests to validate and verify that systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
    • Assist with supplier development, test and production activities, and coordination with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
    • Support investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
    • Work under general supervision.
