Job Description
Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, and service aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic systems in accordance with approved manuals and regulatory requirements. Perform installations and assist with mechanical and electrical removals while ensuring all work is documented accurately and completed safely. Operate ground support equipment and collaborate with other maintenance disciplines to support aircraft readiness. Maintain compliance with environmental, safety, and quality standards in a hangar and flight line environment.

- Education & Job Requirements
- Avionics/Electrical Aircraft Technical School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Typically have a minimum of 2 years of avionics work experience or equivalent.
- Experience on corporate jet aircraft or commercial aircraft.
- Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings.
- Ability to effectively communicate aircraft status in both written and verbal form.
- Ownership of a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory and control.
- Ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment qualifications as required.
- Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, if applicable.
- Preferred Skills
- A Certification if required by the customer (Commercial Aircraft).
- GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate preferred.
- Basic PC skills.
- Job Duties & Functions
- Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements for factory, shop, and hangar positions.
- Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and participate in 5S activities.
- Perform assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner.
- Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify, and service aircraft avionics, electrical, and electronic equipment.
- Perform and document work in accordance with approved manuals and regulatory requirements.
- Operate ground support equipment as required.
- Assist with mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
- Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed.
- Support other maintenance disciplines as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Physical Requirements & Environment
- Ability to work in hangar and flight line environments.
- Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and working in confined or elevated spaces.
- Ability to work outdoors in seasonal and inclement weather conditions.
- Ability to lift, handle, and maneuver tools, equipment, and aircraft components safely.
