- Role Summary
- The company is seeking an experienced A&P Technician to support Part 135 operations and a pending Part 145 repair station. This role focuses on performing heavy maintenance on turboprop aircraft as well as small to medium-sized corporate and commuter jets while ensuring compliance with maintenance manuals, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Education & Job Requirements
- You must have
- A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- An active FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience maintaining turboprop and light to medium jet aircraft with a thorough understanding of mechanical and flight systems.
- Must have CRJ-200 experience.
- Proficiency in basic sheet metal repairs and alterations, or the ability to read and understand electrical prints and perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience in maintaining accurate records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and related reports.
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance tracking systems such as CAMP Systems, eBis, and FlightDocs.
- Experience using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A strong team-oriented attitude with the ability to train and mentor less experienced personnel.
- Ownership of basic hand tools required for aircraft maintenance.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A valid U.S. passport.

- An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an aviation-related program.
- Leadership experience in a maintenance or aviation environment.
- A background in avionics, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of aircraft electronic systems.
- Experience working with composite materials using modern repair and fabrication techniques.
- Job Duties & Functions
- You will be able
- Perform routine and non-routine aircraft maintenance in accordance with company and maintenance manual procedures.
- Complete heavy maintenance tasks on turboprop and small to medium-sized jet aircraft for a client.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all maintenance, repairs, inspections, and related services.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist with housekeeping duties as assigned.
- Perform additional related duties as required to support operations.
- Physical Requirements
- Able to
- Stand, lie, and kneel in awkward positions and confined spaces for extended periods.
- Perform work on scaffolding or ladders.
- Frequently lift, pull, and maneuver objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Use manual dexterity and physical strength to operate tools and perform adjustments and repairs.
- Visually inspect aircraft and components to identify defects.
- Hear sufficiently to test sounds and determine proper aircraft function.
