    • Role Summary
    • In this role, you will support a Department of Defense proprietary program by implementing and overseeing Configuration and Data Management activities for highly integrated, complex systems. You will work with systems engineering, integration, and mission systems teams to ensure product baselines, change control, and data integrity are maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • You must have
    • A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a non-U.S. equivalent directly related to the work statement.
    • A minimum of 9 years of related work experience.
    • Proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management tools such as PTC Windchill, ENOVIA, or Siemens Teamcenter.
    • Eligibility to work as a U.S. person for purposes of export compliance.
    • The ability to work onsite 100 percent of the time at the Albuquerque, New Mexico, location.
    • The ability to relocate at personal expense if residing outside the local area.
    • Preferred Skills
    • You will have
    • A minimum of 14 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
    • Experience using DOORS, Dassault MSOSA, Siemens Teamcenter, and GitLab.
    • Knowledge of configuration management standards such as EIA-649-1 and or MIL-HBK-61.
    • Experience supporting complex electro-optical and or optomechanical systems.
    • Strong organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities across organizations.
    • The ability to accomplish tasks through both formal processes and informal networks.
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • You will be able
    • Implement Configuration and Data Management standards, processes, systems, and tools across the program.
    • Define and allocate Configuration and Data Management requirements for product hardware, software, and engineering design data systems throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Ensure proper integration of product elements by analyzing and resolving complex engineering product structure issues.
    • Assign and maintain product and document identification in accordance with program requirements.
    • Support change control activities, including Engineering Change Proposals, Requests for Variance, Engineering Review Boards, Change Documents, Change Requests, and Change Control Boards.
    • Perform configuration audits and generate configuration status accounting reports.
    • Collaborate with and advise configuration management engineers on configuration management principles and job practices.
    • Coordinate across the program to ensure Configuration and Data Management responsibilities are understood, and deliverables are achieved.
    • Support the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documentation and associated hardware or software.
    • Control product baselines and prepare configuration data for distribution and release.
    • Track problems and changes in product documentation and hardware or software, and report configuration status.
    • Ensure proper archiving, traceability, and auditability of product releases.
    • Manage the input, maintenance, and retrieval of data within configuration management repositories.
    • Interface with supplier management to ensure Configuration and Data Management requirements are properly flowed through Supplier Statements of Work and Supplier Data Requirements Lists.
    • Serve as the customer focal point for Configuration and Data Management activities.
    • Perform duties with minimal direction in a non-managerial, non-leadership role.
