- Role Summary
- In this role, you will be trained in aircraft manufacturing processes while working in a team-based production environment under direct supervision. You will perform basic structural assembly operations, learn to read technical documentation, and progressively take on more responsibility as experience is gained.
- Education & Job Requirements
- You must have
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn hands-on manufacturing processes.
- The ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- The ability to read a scale and perform basic shop math.
- The ability to read and comprehend basic documents, work orders, blueprints, and specification sheets.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with personal computer-based software.
- A professional attitude with attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with others.
- The ability to meet demanding schedules while maintaining good housekeeping and safety practices.
- Availability to work any shift as assigned.
- Preferred Skills
- You will have
- Enrollment in a Technical Aviation program.
- Prior experience in the aerospace industry.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating a forklift or overhead crane.
- Job Duties & Functions
- You will be able
- To perform fitting of detail parts and basic drilling and riveting operations using basic mechanical hand tools under instruction and guidance.
- To ensure parts and completed work meet the instructions provided by assigned manufacturing personnel and Quality Control Inspectors.
- To learn and follow work orders, blueprints, and specification sheets to determine the proper sequence of operations.
- To align and assemble parts using holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners prior to riveting.
- To observe and assist with assembly tasks and progressively work with decreasing supervision as experience is gained.
- To perform additional duties as assigned to support production operations.

- Able to
- Lift and transport objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
