    • Role Summary
    • This role supports electrical systems design activities for military aircraft programs. The position focuses on developing and maintaining system wiring designs for production and retrofit efforts while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Work is performed onsite and includes technical leadership, integration support, and execution of electrical design solutions.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • You must have
    • A Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
    • A minimum of 9 years of work-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or a minimum of 7 years of experience with a Master’s degree, or a minimum of 4 years of experience with a PhD.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience developing wiring harness designs using Siemens Mentor Graphics.
    • Knowledge of electrical engineering and scientific principles applied to wire harness and interconnect system design.
    • Experience with hardware and software airplane-level integration and troubleshooting.
    • Experience mentoring or coaching less experienced engineers.
    • Preferred Skills
    • You will have
    • A minimum of 7 years of experience developing wiring harness designs using Siemens Mentor Graphics.
    • A minimum of 7 years of experience in airplane-level subsystem development, integration, and troubleshooting.
    • Familiarity with U.S. Navy Technical Orders.
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • You will be able
    • Develop system wiring diagrams to support aircraft production and retrofit programs.
    • Design wiring bundles for multiple aircraft models to support engineering changes.
    • Communicate across multidisciplinary teams to foster collaboration and resolve technical issues.
    • Mentor and support less experienced wire design engineers.
    • Perform functional engineering, system integration, and issue resolution activities.
    • Work under minimal direction while supporting team execution objectives.
    • Collaborate with internal and external teams to support sustainment and retrofit initiatives.
