- Role Summary
- In this role, you will support the company by participating in test design, assembling components, fabricating test fixtures, and preparing test systems used across multiple engineering programs. You will assist with system integration, perform pre-test and post-test activities, conduct routine tests, analyze data, document results, and troubleshoot basic laboratory issues under close supervision while receiving hands-on training and mentorship.
- Education & Job Requirements
- You must have
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience interpreting electronic schematics and engineering drawings.
- Experience performing crimping, soldering, and using a multimeter.
- Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge and related work experience.
- The ability to successfully complete required training, either on-the-job or through formal instruction.
- The ability to work 1st shift on a 100% onsite schedule.
- Preferred Skills
- You will have
- An Associate’s degree, which is considered a plus but not required.
- Experience selecting tools and materials to support fabrication tasks.
- Experience fabricating components in accordance with engineering drawings.
- Job Duties & Functions
- You will be able
- Participate in test design activities and support routine procurement, fabrication, and assembly of components, test fixtures, and test systems.
- Facilitate system integration, fabrication, and modification tasks.
- Support pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post-test tear-down procedures.
- Conduct routine tests, analyze data, and document results in accordance with established procedures.
- Troubleshoot basic laboratory or test-related issues under close supervision.
- Build electronic test equipment in support of multiple programs.
- Interpret engineering drawings to determine fabrication requirements.
- Select the proper tools and materials needed to perform assigned tasks.
- Fabricate components and assemblies in alignment with drawing specifications.
