    • Role Summary
    • The Client is seeking a Tool Coordinator to support maintenance, inventory management, and procurement activities at a fast-paced facility. The position will be responsible for assessing maintenance and tooling requirements, coordinating with cross-functional support teams, ensuring compliance with processes and specifications, and maintaining accurate inventory and redistribution of materials. The role operates under limited supervision and requires the ability to evaluate issues, recommend solutions, and support emergent requests while maintaining cost-effective operations.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Must have
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing test assets and calibrated equipment.
    • A minimum of 3 years of experience working with Foreign Object Debris risk.
    • Experience using a computer-based inventory management system.
    • The ability to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
    • A High School Diploma.
    • Preferred Skills
    • You will have
    • Knowledge and use of Air Force Logistics Supply Systems, Publications, and DOD Inventory Management procedures and regulations.
    • Knowledge of Government Furnished Equipment, Government Furnished Property, and experience with government inventory audits.
    • Knowledge and use of the GOLD / GOLDesp Inventory Management System.
    • Experience supporting flight line maintenance and working in compliance with Ground Operating Procedures manuals and DCMA 8210.1C.
    • Experience communicating with internal and external customers.
    • The ability to organize and structure complex issues.
    • Expertise using computer systems, including Microsoft Office, for digital inventory, tool checkout, and inspection or maintenance data entry.
    • Job Duties & Functions
    • You will
    • Assess maintenance requirements and verify customer requests for non-production materials, tools, and shop supplies.
    • Coordinate with support organizations to resolve maintenance issues and potential impacts to budget and maintenance schedules.
    • Investigate changes in maintenance requirements and recommend appropriate solutions to meet maintenance and process needs.
    • Analyze, procure, and oversee procurement processes for maintenance tool services, products, and services.
    • Review inventory stock usage to utilize resources cost-effectively by following inventory management methodologies and processes.
    • Satisfy requirements for non-production materials, portable tools, perishable tools, and shop supplies in support of maintenance.
    • Analyze products by using industry specifications, procedures, engineering product definitions, and maintenance processes to ensure compliance.
    • Facilitate the acquisition of commodities authorized by maintenance by using approved procurement systems and processes.
    • Review on-hand inventory and coordinate redistribution activities.
    • Participate in planning for the removal of obsolete inventory.
    • Prepare required reports to support organizational and contractual requirements.
    • Work under limited supervision.
