• Role Summary
• In this role, you will apply your sheet metal expertise to inspect, repair, fabricate, and modify aircraft structures for the organization. You will work hands-on with airframe and composite components, ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. You will support daily operations both on and off the aircraft while contributing to a high-performing, safety-driven maintenance team.

• Education & Job Requirements
• You must have
• A minimum of 3 years of structural sheet metal repair or modification experience or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of corporate or commercial jet experience.
• An A Certification, A&P Certificate, or Repairman Certificate.
• Completion of Sheet Metal A/C Tech School or equivalent.
• The ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills regarding individual and/or aircraft status.
• A basic set of hand tools and the ability to demonstrate proper inventory and control.
• The ability to obtain Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required.
• The ability to work unscheduled overtime, including non-scheduled days and holidays.
• The ability to work in seasonal or inclement weather conditions.
• The ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, if applicable.
• Basic PC skills.
• The demonstrated ability to train other employees.

• Preferred Skills
• You will have
• Our client’s aircraft model experience – CRJs
• Delegated Inspector Qualification
• Certified welder credentials

• Job Duties / Functions
• You will
• Adhere to the employer’s General Work Requirements
• Comply with environmental health and safety policies, participate in 5-S activities, and perform work safely and efficiently
• Remove, install, fabricate, or modify aircraft components and structural parts
• Perform minor structural repairs on composite components, whether attached or detached
• Assist in conducting hidden damage inspections of aircraft structures
• Assist with complex structural repairs on or off the aircraft
• Operate ground support equipment as required
• Assist with aircraft component repair
• Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations
• Support maintenance at off-site locations as needed
• Assist in wing removal and other maintenance tasks
• Inspect confined areas of the airframe
• Assist in designing, modifying, and welding metal fixtures
• Provide time estimates as required
• Fabricate sheet and composite components
