    • Role Summary
    • You will perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems in a regulated manufacturing environment. You will work from established drawings, specifications, and detailed work instructions to support efficient and accurate build processes. You will contribute to a culture focused on safety, professionalism, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement while operating 100% onsite at the employer’s production facility.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
    • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
    • Must have experience working in a highly regulated environment where compliance and documentation accuracy are critical.
    • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Must have experience in fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems following established production standards.
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
    • Must be able to work 100% onsite at the employer’s Smithfield, PA, or Lemont Furnace, PA facility.
    • Preferred Skills
    • You will have at least 1 year of experience using specialized tools such as wire crimpers, wire strippers, routing tools, multimeters, and digital files.
    • You will have knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, functional tests, and supplier-provided data.
    • You will have the ability to differentiate production requirements from in-service maintenance requirements.
    • You will have experience supporting material, supplier, equipment, or process evaluations to meet conformance standards.
    • You will have complete knowledge of standard shop processes, including FOD prevention, material handling, safety compliance, calibration requirements, and ESD procedures.
    • Job Duties / Functions
    • You will be performing routine assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and equipment using established manual processes.
    • You will be exhibiting a strong commitment to professionalism, development, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing team.
    • You will be working independently to identify, document, and follow actions required for problem resolution or corrective/preventive measures.
    • You will be engaging in ongoing learning to maintain necessary manufacturing knowledge, skills, and certifications.
    • You will be following established procedures to solve routine problems and ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance.
    • You will be receiving general supervision for routine tasks and detailed guidance for new work assignments.
    • You will be responsible for producing work that meets quality standards to prevent delays, rework, or customer dissatisfaction.
