The Systems Assembler performs routine assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using established drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Working in a regulated manufacturing environment, this role ensures accuracy, compliance, and quality workmanship while contributing to a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment where compliance and documentation accuracy are critical.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems following established production standards.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to work 100% onsite at the employer’s Smithfield, PA, or Lemont Furnace, PA facility.
- Preferred Skills
- At least 1 year of experience using specialized tools such as wire crimpers, wire strippers, routing tools, multimeters, and digital files.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, functional tests, and supplier-provided data.
- Ability to differentiate production requirements from in-service maintenance requirements.
- Experience supporting material, supplier, equipment, or process evaluations to meet conformance standards.
- Complete knowledge of standard shop processes, including FOD prevention, material handling, safety compliance, calibration requirements, and ESD procedures.

- Work independently to identify, document, and follow actions required for problem resolution or corrective/preventive measures.
- Engage in ongoing learning to maintain necessary manufacturing knowledge, skills, and certifications.
- Follow established procedures to solve routine problems and ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Receive general supervision for routine tasks and detailed guidance for new work assignments.
- Produce work that meets quality standards to prevent delays, rework, or customer dissatisfaction.
