    • Role Summary
    • In this role, you will be supporting the organization’s engineering operations by fabricating interconnecting cables and harnesses based on engineering drawings. You will perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of test benches and laboratory infrastructure equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability of systems.
    • Education & Job Requirements:
    • Must have the ability to crimp and assemble connector contacts and cable assemblies to aircraft standards.
    • Must have the ability to solder in accordance with J-STD standards.
    • Must be able to read and understand aircraft-level wiring diagrams.
    • Must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and diagrams for metal fabrication and assemblies.
    • Must be familiar with the use of test equipment, troubleshooting, and repair of wiring and isolation.
    • Must have experience wiring serial data interfaces, including ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553, RS422, RS232, Ethernet, and IEEE-488.
    • Must have experience installing fiber optic cabling for reflective memory hardware.
    • Must have the ability to properly and safely use hand tools and shop equipment (powered and unpowered, such as hand drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, and soldering tools).
    • Must have a minimum of 5 years of technical industry experience.
    • Must have good oral and written communication skills.
    • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in confined areas for extended periods.
    • Must be familiar with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) practices.
    • Must have a High School Diploma.
    • Preferred Skills:
    • You will have an Associate Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
    • You will have prior military experience in related aircraft or systems maintenance and support.
    • Job Duties / Functions:
    • You will be fabricating interconnecting cables and harnesses based on engineering drawings.
    • You will be performing troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of test benches and laboratory infrastructure equipment.
    • You will be wiring serial data interfaces and installing fiber optic cabling for reflective memory systems.
    • You will be interpreting engineering and mechanical drawings to support fabrication and assembly work.
    • You will be using test equipment to troubleshoot and isolate wiring issues.
    • You will be maintaining safety and quality standards by following ESD and FOD control procedures.
    • You will be collaborating with engineers and technicians to ensure the successful completion of test setups and maintenance projects.
    • You will be maintaining tools and work areas in compliance with organizational safety and cleanliness standards.
