    • Role Summary
    • In this role, you will provide software test and verification engineering support for a new initiative involving CI/CD pipelines and AI tools. You will design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests for software and hardware-in-the-loop systems to ensure reliability, performance, and compliance. You will collaborate with multifunctional teams to integrate software deployment with hardware systems and enhance automated testing frameworks across the organization.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry and typically 5 or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (PhD + 1 year, Master’s + 3 years).
    • Must have the ability to work fully onsite in Cambridge, MA.
    • Must have experience setting up and configuring test environments for software and hardware integration.
    • Must have strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.
    • Must have familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
    • Must have excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Preferred Skills
    • You will have experience with NI TestStand, NI VeriStand, and NI LabVIEW for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and automation.
    • You will have hands-on experience with NI PXIe systems and hardware integration.
    • You will have familiarity with avionics communication protocols such as MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429, and CAN.
    • You will have knowledge of FPGA testing and architecture.
    • You will have experience developing and executing automated test methodologies.
    • You will have familiarity with AI tools and their use in HIL environments.
    • You will have strong collaboration skills with CI/CD or DevSecOps teams.
    • You will have experience verifying and validating avionics display systems.
    • Job Duties / Functions
    • You will be setting up and configuring test environments, including hardware, software, and network systems, to replicate production environments.
    • You will be designing and executing test plans, cases, and procedures to validate software performance and functionality.
    • You will be performing verification and validation activities for both software and hardware systems.
    • You will be developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to improve test efficiency.
    • You will be identifying, documenting, and reporting software and hardware defects and potential vulnerabilities.
    • You will be providing test data analysis, reports, and feedback for issue resolution.
    • You will be coordinating test and verification activities across multifunctional teams.
    • You will be maintaining and operating hardware-in-the-loop automation systems for avionics platforms.
    • You will be ensuring testing processes comply with all applicable data security and software quality standards.
