    • Role Summary
    • In this role, you will perform inspections of aircraft, components, and systems to ensure compliance with FAA, company, and customer standards. You will oversee quality processes within the repair station, maintain regulatory documentation, and provide leadership in inspection and compliance practices.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Must have a High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the aviation industry.
    • Must possess a valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
    • Must have experience in corporate aviation as an A&P mechanic (5–10 years).
    • Must have strong knowledge of FAA regulations, AS9100 and AS9110 Quality Management System standards.
    • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical data.
    • Must have strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Must be able to climb, kneel, stoop, and stand for extended periods to perform inspections.
    • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally push or pull up to 100 pounds.
    • Must be able to pass a background check and participate in DOT drug and alcohol screening.
    • Must be eligible to operate a motor vehicle with a clean driving record.
    • Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
    • Inspection Authorization (IA) Certificate preferred.
    • Bi-lingual ability is a plus.
    • Preferred Skills

    • You will have experience overseeing inspection teams or quality functions in an FAA Repair Station environment.
    • You will have knowledge of FOD and Tool Control programs.
    • You will have the ability to mentor and train inspectors or technicians.
    • You will have a customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
    • Job Duties / Functions
    • You will be determining that all technical data on all articles maintained or altered by the repair station are secured and current with the latest revisions, including process specifications, maintenance manuals, service bulletins, part specifications, FAA Airworthiness Directives, and other related data.
    • You will be performing inspections of aircraft systems, equipment, and parts for operation and conformance to FAA, NAVAIR, and company standards.
    • You will be inspecting the installation, repair, and operation of electrical wiring, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, oil, and emergency systems.
    • You will be inspecting adjustments, structural and electrical repairs, or modifications in accordance with applicable Technical Orders (T.O.), TCTOs, work cards, and structural repair manuals.
    • You will be maintaining and updating the Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, and Training Manual.
    • You will be performing receiving inspections on all incoming raw materials and purchased parts.
    • You will be performing inspections on machined parts, welds, and electrical systems.
    • You will be applying blueprint reading, interpretation, and shop mathematics to inspection processes.
    • Work Environment
    • You will be working both inside hangars and outside in various weather conditions, with direct contact to moving and non-moving aircraft. You may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.
    • Reporting Relationship
    • You will be reporting directly to the Maintenance Director.
