- Role Summary
- In this role, you will develop and maintain conformity packages for the 525 program and ensure compliance of the client’s Quality Management System (QMS) with regulatory requirements. You will revise and maintain processes, procedures, and program plans in the QMS, and support the client’s certified repair station operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts, and risk evaluation and mitigation coordination.
- Education & Job Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree.
- Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in quality operations or related work, including experience developing and writing internal procedures and creating training classes.
- Must have previous experience working at a 14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station.
- Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Visio).
- Must have a strong understanding of FAA regulatory requirements.
- Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with internal and external customers (including government agencies).
- Must be action-oriented, able to work independently or as part of a team, and well organized.
- Preferred Skills
- You will have experience with corrective action and continuous improvement methodologies, including statistical analysis and project management techniques.
- You will have experience updating training records and maintaining compliance documentation.
- Job Duties / Functions
- You will maintain, update, and revise QMS procedures.
- You will revise Repair Station Training and Quality Manuals, including additions such as the Flight Research Center or CPR/BPR Warehouse.
- You will create procedures for a common FAA roster of technicians across repair stations.
- You will update and track training records in Brain Shark, including all Repair Station and ARD training.
- You will monitor and update Commercial Quality Escape RCCA.
- You will create procedures for Drug and Alcohol Random Testing across all repair stations.
- You will support cross-functional teams in continuous improvement initiatives and RCCA efforts.
- You will perform all duties in accordance with company policies, procedures, processes, and guidelines.
