    • Role Summary
    • In this role, you will support systems engineering and integration by defining requirements, designing system architectures, and executing verification and validation activities. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system development meets safety, certification, and performance standards.
    • Education & Job Requirements
    • Must have a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, aerospace, electrical/computer engineering, or a related technical field.
    • Must have 5 or more years of experience in systems engineering within aerospace, automotive, or complex system domains.
    • Must have hands-on experience with V-Diagram processes for requirements, design, implementation, verification, and validation.
    • Must have knowledge of safety assessments (FHA, PSSA, SSA, CMA, FMEA/FMES).
    • Must have familiarity with applicable certification frameworks (ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254).
    • Must be able to work 100% onsite in Everett or Renton, WA.
    • Preferred Skills
    • You will have experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS).
    • You will have system modeling expertise (SysML/UML, Cameo, or equivalent).
    • You will have experience in test planning and execution across multiple integration levels.
    • You will have knowledge of aircraft design, development, and certification processes.
    • Job Duties / Functions
    • You will lead and support requirements definition, decomposition, and allocation from aircraft-level to system and item level.
    • You will develop and maintain functional and logical airplane and system architectures.
    • You will perform functional hazard assessments (FHA), preliminary system safety assessments (PSSA), and common mode analyses (CMA).
    • You will guide item design and implementation, ensuring traceability to higher-level requirements.
    • You will plan and execute verification and validation activities across the V-model.
    • You will collaborate with software and hardware teams during design and testing.
    • You will provide documentation and support for certification authorities and participate in technical design reviews and audits.
