- Role Summary
- In this role, you will support airborne command and control systems integration and testing. You will develop and execute test procedures, analyze data, document results, and troubleshoot mission systems with software and hardware engineers. This position directly contributes to the readiness and modernization of platforms such as AWACS, AEWC, B-1, B-2, B-52, and ALCM weapon systems. You will also support international operations, including system deployment and testing in collaboration with U.S. and allied forces.
- Education & Job Requirements
- Must have advanced technical education (Associate, Bachelor, or equivalent) with at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.(e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
- Must have experience as an AWACS/E-7 operator, ground-based operator, or systems tester.
- Must have experience performing military systems verification testing.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Preferred Skills
- You will have experience with Link-16/BLOS/DLO operations, MAJIC/planner classes, or JICO patch operations.
- You will have electronic warfare (ES/EW) operation experience.
- You will have airborne radio or communications technician experience.
- You will have prior experience as an AWACS operator.
- You will have strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- You will have demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with hardware, software, and test engineering teams.
- Job Duties / Functions
- You will operate airborne mission systems equipment in the integration laboratory.
- You will apply systems engineering processes, methodologies, and tools to integrate and verify system requirements.
- You will create and execute test procedures, document results, and perform data analysis to ensure compliance with mission systems requirements.
- You will troubleshoot integration issues in collaboration with software and hardware engineers.
- You will gather and document project metrics, processes, and deployed tools to support integration management.
- You will write problem reports to help teams reproduce and resolve system failures.
- You will contribute to system upgrades, including radar systems, hypersonic weapons, and advanced digital communication infrastructure.
- You will adhere to safety, quality, and operational standards while supporting on-site and international missions.
