- Role Summary
- In this role, you will process and move production materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations to support continuous production flow. You will monitor work in process, communicate part status through both automated systems and manual reports, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and expedite materials as needed. Working under general supervision, you will help prevent schedule delays by ensuring parts and materials are available and properly managed throughout the production process.
- Education & Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED; vocational or associate degree preferred.
- Must have at least 1 year of forklift experience.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of warehouse or material handling experience.
- Must possess basic computer skills for data entry and tracking purposes.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including bending, kneeling, lifting up to 35 pounds, and standing or walking for extended periods.
- Must be able to climb, balance, crawl, and reach overhead as required.
- Must be a U.S. Person.
- Preferred Skills
- You will have experience using automated inventory or material management systems.
- You will have knowledge of production scheduling and material coordination processes.
- You will have experience working in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- You will have strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.
- You will have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production setting.
- Job Duties / Functions
- You will be processing and moving production materials between storage, production, and work areas.
- You will be monitoring work in process to ensure timely material flow.
- You will be communicating part and material status using both manual and automated reporting systems.
- You will be identifying and resolving part or material discrepancies using established procedures.
- You will be coordinating with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to set priorities and avoid schedule delays.
- You will be operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- You will be adhering to all safety and quality protocols during in-house orientation and daily operations.
