- Role Summary
- In this role, you will serve as an MH-139 Maintenance Control Technician responsible for coordinating, planning, and supervising maintenance and repairs for MH-139 aircraft. You will ensure the release of aircraft, certify logbook entries, and support flight operations while working rotating shifts at FE Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
- Education & Job Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an aircraft maintenance environment supporting configuration management and flight release.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in airplane operational and organizational processes in maintenance and/or flight operations.
- Must have O-level experience and knowledge of the Exceptional Release process.
- Must possess good communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.
- Must be able to work rotating shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and travel for detachments (10%-25% travel possible, including domestic and some international bases).
- Must maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Must successfully complete OJT or formal classroom training as a contingency for assignment.
- Preferred Skills
- You will have experience with Exceptional Release or "Safe for Flight" certification.
- You will have experience with military aircraft maintenance.
- You will have experience with MH-139/AW139 aircraft systems and flight operations.
- You will have extensive knowledge of AFI 21-101, associated AFIs, OIs, and Command Directives.
- You will have expertise as a Subject Matter Expert on 781 Series Aircraft Forms.
- You will be comfortable working in areas that are noisy, dusty, and may be exposed to heat, cold, and wind.
- Job Duties / Functions
- You will be coordinating, planning, organizing, and controlling the maintenance and repairs of MH-139 aircraft.
- You will be supervising and coordinating maintenance efforts on assigned shifts to meet daily flight schedules.
- You will be inspecting aircraft to certify that all maintenance performed by the team is correct and complete.
- You will certify Aircraft/Engine Logbook entries and manage maintenance control responsibilities.
- You will support flight operations and ensure compliance with operational standards and procedures.
- You will work with rotating shifts and be available for required travel to other Air Force bases.
- You will be providing technical guidance and support to maintain high-quality aircraft operations.
- You will be working under general direction, following established standards and processes.
