• Role Summary:
• In this role, you will support the development and documentation of mechanical, fluid, and thermal systems for aircraft and simulators. You will perform detailed design, spatial integration, and modifications of mechanisms, landing gear, and ordinance systems. You will assist in preparing technical documents and support proposal preparation and new business development efforts.

• Education & Job Requirements:
• Must have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have experience with Siemens NX CAD system.
• Must have experience designing for flight simulators and aircraft cockpit structures.
• Must have experience designing parts for 3D printing.
• Must have experience designing parts for CNC machining.
• Must have experience designing Waterjet parts, including exporting designs to .dxf files and reviewing them.
• Must have experience designing packaging for electrical systems.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have experience in general fabrication, precision machining, and complex assembly techniques.

• Preferred Skills:
• You will have familiarity with advanced mechanical system integration for aerospace platforms.
• You will have experience coordinating design modifications across multidisciplinary teams.
• You will have knowledge of proposal documentation processes and technical reporting standards.

• Job Duties / Functions:
• You will perform development, maintenance, or modification of system designs/proposals to provide design documentation and high-level requirements to downstream users and customers.
• You will perform detailed design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.
• You will perform spatial integration at the system or component level and modification of mechanisms, landing gear, or ordinance systems.
• You will perform the preparation of technical documents for mechanical components and systems.
• You will perform support for proposal preparation and new business development efforts.
