• Role Summary
• This role is responsible for supporting the Space Systems Verification and Test team. The technician will contribute to the hardening, deployment, automation, setup, and readiness of Special Test Equipment in factory and launch environments. This position requires leadership with courage and passion, strong communication, analytical, and decision-making skills, and the ability to influence others while delivering results with excellence.

• Education / Job Requirements
• Minimum of advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor's).
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have a current CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Must have experience in operating systems, including Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Enterprise Linux, and Cisco IOS.
• Must have experience with VMWare Virtualization and Enterprise Storage.
• Must be willing to travel domestically as required (5–10%).

• Preferred Skills
• Minimum of ITIL 4 certification.
• Minimum of Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
• Experience in Satellite Test and STE Operations Readiness.
• Experience in Cyber Security.
• Experience in Red Hat and Oracle Linux servers, Windows XP – Windows 7, 10, 11 OS, and network-based storage systems.
• Experience in certifying PTEX (Payload Test Executive) and MTEX (Modular Test Executive) Test Servers.
• Experience in certifying the Automated Test Controller (ATC) Server and Client.

• Job Duties / Functions
• Will provide factory floor support to multiple programs by defining and documenting test setups, deploying test software and configurations, troubleshooting, coordinating program requests, and supporting team initiatives to improve effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
• Will develop, implement, and sustain tools to enable product security requirements.
• Will utilize agile methodologies to plan, execute, and track product security statements of work.
• Will develop and enhance system requirements and architectures for product security to meet all applicable certification and customer requirements.
• Will configure and ensure security of facilities, equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for product design, development, build, test, storage, delivery, operations, and support.
• Will work 100% onsite at the assigned location.
• Will comply with all corporate travel and expense policies when using a Boeing-issued corporate credit card.
