- Role Summary
- Experienced General Repair Technician C – Weapons skilled in maintaining, inspecting, and repairing M240Dweaponsand aerospace vehicle components. Proficient in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, performing validation/testing, documenting procedures for compliance, and overseeing assembly, overhaul, and training activities. Strong background in military aircraft maintenance and weapons systems with a focus on safety and operational readiness.
- Education & Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Typically 4 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school/Associate + 2 years of related work, Bachelor, etc.).
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with Military aircraft maintenance
- Minimum 3 years of military weapons experience
- Must be willing to work variable shifts
- Preferred Skills
- M240D experience
- Experience with rotorcraft maintenance
- Hold or held an Airframe and Power plant (A&P) License
- General Mechanic experience is desirable
- Job Duties/Functions
- Clean, inspect, maintain & repair M240D weapons in accordance with OEM and military standards
- Assembles, disassembles, and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing, or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes
- Oversees assembly, disassembly, or overhaul of weapons components
- Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components
- Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results)
- Inspects components and verifies repairs for applicable weapons
- Works under general direction
- Willing to travel on demand 25% of the year
