Job Description

The A&P Mechanic is responsible for repairing, inspecting, and performing maintenance on customer aircraft while operating ground support equipment and industrial vehicles. This role includes interpreting mechanical engineering drawings, assisting with inspections and troubleshooting, documenting all work performed, and maintaining compliance with FAA, company, and environmental, health, and safety policies. Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively are essential.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • FAA Airframe License.
    • A minimum of 2 years of experience on Bombardier products OR 4 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
    • Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
    • Basic PC skills.
    • Authorized to work in the U.S.

    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
    • Operate aircraft ground support equipment and industrial vehicles such as scissor/boom lifts and forklifts.
    • Maintain hand tools and demonstrate inventory control.
    • Assist with inspections, troubleshooting, and aircraft component repair.
    • Interpret mechanical engineering drawings and perform work according to manuals and regulations.
    • Document work accurately in compliance with FAA and company requirements.
    • Participate in 5-S activities and maintain safety and environmental compliance.
    • Physical Requirements & Environment
    • Lift and handle aircraft components and tools.
    • Frequent standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
    • Work in a hangar environment with exposure to noise, temperature changes, and aircraft fluids.
    • Flexible to work required hours to meet operational needs.
