Job Description

Perform inspection, maintenance, repair, modification, and operational testing of turbine engines and APUs in accordance with approved maintenance manuals and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include assisting with the installation and removal of engines and related systems, performing engine runs and operational checks, supporting off-aircraft component repair, documenting all work performed, operating ground support and industrial equipment, maintaining tool control, and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, safety, and 5-S policies while working in a safe and timely manner.

    • Education & Job Requirements
    • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
    • FAA Powerplant License.
    • Ability to inspect engines and/or APUs, components, and associated aircraft systems in accordance with maintenance manuals with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to effectively communicate in English in both written and verbal form.
    • Ability to perform and document work per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
    • Basic PC skills.

    • Job Duties & Functions
    • Adhere to general work requirements.
    • Inspect engines and/or APUs, components, and associated aircraft systems and components in accordance with appropriate maintenance manuals.
    • Assist with installation, removal, modifications, and repairs of turbine engines, APUs, and airframe systems or components.
    • Perform and document work per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
    • Assist with engine and APU operational checks and functional tests.
    • Assist with performing complete engine runs.
    • Assist with off-aircraft component repair.
    • Operate ground support equipment and industrial vehicles, including scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts.
    • Own and maintain hand tools and demonstrate inventory and control of tools.
    • Comply with environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures and participate in 5-S activities.
