- This role would involve leading and managing the engineering aspects of the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) program, overseeing all technical aspects of the project from design through development and testing, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization.
- Education and Experience Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 5 years or more total of project management, project engineering, and/or supply chain experience.
- Must be able to develop program-level metrics and presentations to provide progress/status for development, build, sustainment, and project planning.
- Must be able to monitor project progress and report project performance status (cost and schedule).
- Must be able to support the development of supplier SOWs and applicable Supplier Data Requirement Lists (SDRL).
- Must be able to coordinate with the design team, build team, and suppliers to support the development of engineering design and manufacturing.
- Must be able to contribute to project management tools and processes and share lessons learned.
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. College Degree Preferred.
- Job Skills and Duties
- Ability to collaborate with multiple support functions (engineering – all disciplines, manufacturing, procurement, finance, IT, technical logistics, quality, contracts), customers, and suppliers.
- Capable of planning and executing internal and external design reviews as well as other technical meetings.
- Organize and prioritize tasks while maintaining flexibility through the fast-paced, evolving environment. Strong organizational & task management skills are required.
- Previous project execution responsibilities including supplier, cost, and schedule management are required.
