- Position Responsibilities
- Ideal candidate will be responsible for the removal, installation, and fabrication of interior components within private jets including seats, galleys, lavatories, panels, and flooring, ensuring all work adheres to strict quality standards, FAA regulations, and customer specifications, while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail within a corporate aviation environment.
- Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of recent experience with installation work on Corporate aircraft (Challenger, Citation, Global, Gulfstream, Hawker/Beechjet, King Air, Learjet, Phenom, or Piaggio)
- Lead Interior installation experience.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, manufacturer manuals, and other documents
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized aircraft interior installation equipment
- Must have own tools
- Job Duties
- Remove, install, make modifications, and/or fabricate aircraft interiors, which may include items such as trim, carpet, soundproofing, light structure, cabinetry, panels, and other accessories
- Perform fabrication tasks like cutting, shaping, and fitting interior components to customize them for specific aircraft configurations or customer requests
- Properly handle and store aircraft interior materials, including leather, fabric, wood, veneers, and special hardware
- Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with company procedures, internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs and quality specifications
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in tight spaces, climb ladders, lift heavy objects, and stand for extended periods of time
