- Position Responsibility
- As an Interior Mechanic, you’ll collaborate with a dynamic team of skilled technicians and specialists responsible for the mechanical maintenance and repair of various commercial aircraft while maintaining state-of-the-art equipment. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the effectiveness and reliability of our customers' Aircraft while remaining in compliance with all FAA policies and regulations. Remove, clean, service, and replace various aircraft components with the use of special tooling and ground support equipment following oral and written instructions such as supervisor’s directives and manuals to complete all routine and non-routine assignments on time.
- Basic Qualification (Required Skills/Experience)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Heavy Commercial Maintenance; Example: A320 Family, A300, B787, B777, B767, B757, B747, B737, DC-10/MD-11, and E-Jet Family
- FAA Airframe Certification preferred
- Ability to be flexible when it comes to overtime and be willing weekends and 1stor 2ndshifts required
- Must have own tools
- Job Duties
- Remove, clean, service, and replace various aircraft components using special tooling and ground support equipment following oral and written instructions such as supervisor's directives and manuals to complete all routine and non-routine assignments on time
- Recover all aircraft seats and armrests
- Service all aircraft emergency equipment to specifications
- Perform the duties of and provide necessary training for lower skill levels
- Maintain and store various tools in a serviceable condition
- Adhere to safe maintenance practices and keep a clean work area
- Please maintain and supply personal records of work performed on OJT forms for the Training Department
- Complete any courses deemed necessary by the Training Department
- Perform any work that their supervisor may assign
