- Position Responsibilities
- To perform inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, and maintain avionic systems on UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters. This role is critical in ensuring the aircraft’s operational readiness and compliance with aviation safety standards.
- Basic Qualifications(Required Skills/Experience)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of recent experience working on the Sikorsky UH-60 Helicopter
- Comprehensive knowledge of UH-60 avionics systems, including flight management systems, GPS, and autopilot systems
- Ability to work in small, confined areas
- Have experience on other rotary wing aircraft such as; Bell, MD, Robinson, and Airbus (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail
- Job Duties
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on UH-60 avionics systems, including navigation, communication, flight control, and instrumentation systems
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve avionics-related malfunctions
- Install, test, modify, and upgrade avionics equipment in accordance with technical manuals and manufacturer specifications
- Use advanced testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and specialized diagnostic tools, to verify system functionality
- Maintain detailed maintenance records in compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and organizational standards
