Avionics Technician

Job Description

Our client is looking to fill their vacant Avionics Technician in positions Boise, Idaho. In this position, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting and/or performing needed repairs to aircraft systems utilizing test equipment and hand tools to return aircraft to service per FAA and manufacturers specifications. • Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
• Install, troubleshoot and/or repair aircraft systems utilizing test equipment
• Ensure proper care of customer property through all phases of work
• Accurately complete required paperwork and work order details in Corridor
• Continually keep clean and organized work area including personal tool box
• Understand and follow safety procedures, and utilize support equipment in a safe manner to accomplish work
• Responsible for completing training syllabus for advancement to next level
• Performs other duties as directed without hesitation

• Education and Experience Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years experience in corporate or general aviation
• Skilled in troubleshooting, terminating and building wire harnesses, adept reading schematics/blue prints/wiring diagrams
• Experience/knowledge of some systems supported by WAI which include: Gogo, Garmin, Honeywell, Rockwell Collins, Bendix King or Avidyne.

• Desired Qualifications:
• "A" certification is preferred but not required
• FCC Certification is preferred
