    • Position Responsibilities
    • Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies and aircraft systems, equipment, and accessories using manual operations.
    • Basic Qualifications(Required Skills/Experience)
    • High School Diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must be able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Shift dependent on business need.
    • Interior installation experience and not necessarily the broad term of fabrication.
    • Ability to identify common tools
    • Experience reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, material processes, schematics, and diagrams in aviation.
    • 3+ years of aerospace experience working with decorative finishes.
    • Experience specialized in the design and/or analysis of aircraft interior modifications
    • Required technical skills include file, sand, paint, decorative laminate ("declam"), and cosmetic rework (ex. paint color match, surface texture match, etc.)
    • 3+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.
    • 3+ years’ related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 3+ years of aerospace experience in cabin systems interiors (ex. galleys, lavatories, stowage, first and business-class seats, interior liners, etc.)
    • Must be proficient in using Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook, etc.
    • Must have demonstrated strong effective communication, work ethic, and sense of urgency for completing assigned task/work.
    • Experience understanding and interpreting detailed written and verbal work instructions and processes
    • Job Duties
    • Install, fit, fasten, align, adjust, and perform the necessary pre-installation and installation of interiors.
    • Perform decorative interior repair in the aircraft cabin on assemblies made from various types of material including fiberglass, plastic, and composites using various methods, including but not limited to painting and sweep and fill.
    • This job is performed at various stages of the aircraft assembly process, in factory and/or flight line locations.
    • Read and understand engineering drawings and instructions to select the correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, standards, and hardware used to install, fit, fasten, align, adjust, and perform the necessary pre-installation and installation of interiors.
    • Performs proper cleaning methods, surface preparation, cleaning, and masking for rework.
    • Physical Requirements
    • Lift up to 25 pounds (Occasional lifting of 21-35 pounds), bend and twist at the waist, walk, crawl, crouch, stand for long periods, kneel, reach, climb/balance, flexion/extension
    • Contact with sealants and solvents, exposure to noise, working on elevated platforms
    • Use personal protective gear for face, eyes, ears, hands, and arms as required.
    • Pass visual acuity and color perception tests
    • Handle, use, and dispose of hazardous material
    • Obtain & maintain training certifications as required to support assignment responsibilities
    • Occasional (1 to 3 hrs) finger manipulation
    • On occasion, a 2-person lift may be necessary for weights greater than 50 lbs
    • Frequent reaching overhead (3 to 6 hrs)
    • Frequent walking on flat surfaces
    • Frequent standing on flat or uneven surfaces
    • Frequent balancing on a ladder, steps, or uneven surfaces
    • Occasional climbing on 3-12 ft ladders or stands
    • Rotation of head/neck, sitting, crawling, squatting, bending/stooping, lying down, and operating foot controls
    • Occasional contact with metals
    • Exposure to plastics and solvents to atmospheric conditions
    • Frequent exposure to noise
