    • Position Responsibilities
    • Perform modifications per Engineering Change Orders.
    • Inspect assemblies to ensure IPC-A-610 quality standards are met.
    • Inspect components to identify common defects in components and soldering, as well as improper use of flux and PCB cleaning.
    • Modify and repair products according to applicable documentation and procedures.
    • Perform detailed work on component boards and utilize fine-pitch solder on components.
    • Utilize Bill of Materials (BOM), Engineering Change Orders, and process work orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
    • Remove and replace PTH components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits, transistors, switches, fuses, connectors, transformers, inductors, LEDs) and SMT components (discrete components, gullwing and J Lead components).
    • Utilize standard work documentation (diagrams, photos, written/verbal instructions) and apply personal judgment based on specialized knowledge to rework product units.
    • Ensure workmanship and quality of products.
    • Manage multiple assignments and identify deviations from accepted practices.
    • Basic Qualifications
    • Prompt and regular attendance is required to ensure quality workflow.
    • Must possess both oral and written skills to communicate with supervisors, and co-workers, and to comprehend written and verbal instructions.
    • Basic Microsoft Office skills and willingness to learn additional software (Word, Excel, Access).
    • Job Duties
    • Perform assembly and inspection to ensure quality performance, including knowledge and application of IPC-A-610 quality standards.
    • Complete other duties as requested to ensure 100% quality, accuracy, and product verification.

    • Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively in a continuous improvement environment.
    • Experience removing and replacing various components (resistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits, transistors, switches, fuses, connectors, transformers, inductors, LEDs, discrete components, gullwing, and J Lead components).
    • Experience with SMT fine-pitch components (lead width < 50 mil).
    • Ability to identify common component and soldering defects, including the proper use of flux.
