    • Position Responsibilities
    • Performs machine set-up, machining, welding set-up, welding, sheet metal fabrication, extrusion, tube bending, and fabrication tasks.
    • Basic Qualifications(Required Skills/Experience)
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Minimum 6 months experience with Manufacturing, Fabrication, and/or Aviation.
    • Minimum6 months experience/proficiency with typical hand tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, sockets, ratchets, etc.) Use of high-impact vibratory tools.
    • Minimum6 months of experience with pneumatic/hydraulic equipment.
    • Minimum6 months of experience/ability to perform computer searches to look up/read/comprehend technical work instructions, drawings, and/or specifications.
    • 6 months+ of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite, and/or other specialized computer applications.
    • Ability to work with High Hazard Chemicals
    • Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
    • Conventional material layup, precision measuring, power, pneumatic, and hand tools.
    • CNC experience.
    • Crane Operations experience.
    • Experience reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, material processes, schematics, and diagrams in aviation.
    • Job Duties
    • Performs composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks.
    • Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
    • Assembles, repairs, modifies and installs various power plants and drive trains.
    • Perform soldering on electronic and avionics products.
    • Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products.
    • Prepares test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to perform various tests.
    • Performs basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation.
    • Applies routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.
    • Works on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements.
