• Job Overview
• Performs weld repairs for various aerospace parts and components.

• Minimum Qualifications (Required)
• Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of recent aircraft/component maintenance. (required)
• Must have a minimum of 3 years of recent welding experience.

• Education
• High school diploma, GED equivalent.
• Must be certified for any materials and processes relating to welding of product type and specification.

• Major Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Read and write English.
• Read and follow all work instructions, as well as properly document work performed using documents such as but not limited to, process planning, Engineering Orders (MRB/EO’s), Process Specifications, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Manuals, etc.
• Set up, layout, fabricate, and rework finished components
• Inspect welded components for consistency
• Inspect and correct welds as needed
• Use of common tools or equipment associated with cutting, grinding, and welding.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment.
• Follow company safety guidelines at all times
• Wear personal protection equipment such as specialized goggles, helmets, and gloves.
