• Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
• Perform a variety of activities including preparation of surfaces and mixing paints.
• Paint aircraft, small parts, and various surfaces according to required specifications.
• Perform layout and masking as necessary.
• Mix paints, primers, etc. according to specifications.
• Paint major assemblies (including metal, fiberglass and composite material), detail parts, and apparatus, as needed.
• Strip paint and prepares surfaces as required.
• Perform miscellaneous paint operations and applies decals.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supports the company initiatives and complies with safety regulations.
• Demonstrate paint and paint preparation competencies needed to successfully complete finishing operations.

• Education and Experience Requirements:
• High school education or general education degree (GED) Required
• Minimum 2 years work-related Aircraft Paint experience
• Must be able to work 2nd Shift (3.:00pm to 11:30pm)

• Required Skills:
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in painting and methods of mixing paint colors.
• Ability to read and interpret blue prints, engineering drawing and technical publications required.
• The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate is required.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Aviation mechanical experience, either fixed wing or rotorcraft experience, desired.
