Job Description

A TPS Technician is responsible for supporting thermal protective systems application within a controlled manufacturing environment. This role includes primer mixing and application, applying Thermal Protection Systems (TPS) foam, interpreting complex blueprints and process documentation, and working on structures and systems using established drawings and requirements. The position requires working with chemicals, understanding proper mixing ratios and application techniques, and performing tasks in tight or confined spaces for extended periods. Successful completion of all required contingencies and training is mandatory.

• Schedule: Full-time; must be able to work all shifts. Training on First Shift, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

• Pay Rate: $28.05-$39.26

• Education & Job Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in related manufacturing or thermal protective systems work.
• Ability to perform primer mixing and application.
• Ability to apply Thermal Protection Systems (TPS) foam.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints and process documents.
• Ability to work on structures and systems using established drawings and requirements.
• Ability to work with chemicals and ensure proper mixing ratios and application techniques.
• U.S. Person for Export Compliance.

• Preferred Skills
• Experience working on a NASA program.
• Experience in a clean room environment.
• Manufacturing experience in human spaceflight, spaceflight, or aircraft hardware.
• Experience and/or coursework in thermal protective systems.
