    • Location:North Charleston, SC
    • Contract Duration:6 Months
    • Position Responsibilities
    • This position will provide critical production support to Final Assembly and field operations including improving production efficiency, and safety and optimizing product quality.
    • Creates a culture that enhances productivity, safety, and a teaming environment.
    • Works cross-functionally to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Ensure the LOTO book, kit, and LOTO equipment are used correctly and inventoried.
    • Coordinates with Lead/Manager on execution and critical path of production build Group
    • Additional responsibilities Included but not limited to
    • Supervising Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)
    • Review current LOTOs
    • Coordinating hazardous energy work
    • Handoff or end-of-shift activities
    • Abnormal circumstance responses
    • Verifies Aircraft power can be safely provided to the airplane.
    • Inventory LOTO Kits Pre and post-shift
    • Sign in to all LOTOs.
    • Remove any LOTOs from the book as required
    • Meets with the work team to evaluate where hazardous energy is to be introduced
    • Coordinating with Functional Test SMEs and ME’s
    • If work continues – coordinate hand-off with the next GC.
    • If work shuts down – coordinate preparation for power shutdown.
    • Review the status of personnel and airplane system configuration.
    • Transfer LOTOs to the incoming GCs and the Field as required
    • Sign out of all open Control Log Sheets (X35681)
    • Verifies all mechanics are signed out of active LOTOs.
    • Carrying/Lifting up to 10-35 pounds
    • Basic Qualifications(Required Skills/Experience)
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with Field Operations/Aircraft Systems/LOTO.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience within aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience in advising and influencing others to meet quality and safety requirements or resolve technical or operational problems.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience with Systematic Problem Solving and Standardized Work
    • Top 3-5 Technical/Software Skills needed to perform this role/job?
    • ABILITY to work with various wiring design drawings including system interconnects, wire routing, and equipment installation drawings
    • ABILITY to utilize and follow detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications
