    • ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Oversight of a portfolio of assigned accounts within a specific product line
    • Develop new business from existing accounts and actively seek new sales opportunities
    • Introduce and hand off to sales leadership new sales opportunities outside of the assigned sales segment or area of expertise
    • Function as the lead point of contact for all commercial matters specific to your accounts including negotiating contracts
    • Build and maintain strong, trusted, and long-lasting customer relationships
    • Communicate technical information to customers including product education and demonstrating how products will meet customer expectations
    • Communicate client needs and demands to the organization by functioning as the internal advocate for the timely development and delivery of products according to customer needs and objectives
    • Submission of presentations, quotes, formal proposals and bid responses to customers. This may include creation, contribution, or supervision of technical, quotation, cost, price, and NRE documentation. Including word processing, presentation creation, creative writing, costing and research
    • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams to develop customer requested documentation and to improve the entire customer experience
    • Adhere to the sales process and clearly communicate status of sales initiatives and provide account updates, sales progress, reports, and forecasts for assigned accounts and new opportunities
    • Work with sales leadership to generate ideas for sales programs, meeting sales strategies and lead generation process
    • Participate in scheduled daily, weekly and/or monthly team meetings with sales team and leadership
    • Prepare as directed monthly, weekly, or daily sales analysis as instructed by Sales leadership
    • Maintain records of client transactions and regularly update the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) software and other sales applications for assigned accounts
    • Responsible for working with other sales team members to provide assistance and support to accounts outside your assigned territory in times where the primary account manager is unavailable i.e., Personal Time Off (PTO), vacations, illness, death in family, other
    • Embody company culture and maintain high sales employee engagement
    • Perform other duties as assigned
    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field from an accredited institution.
    • 3 years proven work experience as a Sales Account Manager or relevant role.
    • 3 years of technical product sales experience with at least 2 years’ experience with lithium-ion energy storage systems
    • Demonstrate ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
    • Proven experience with CRM software (i.e., Salesforce, NetSuite, HubSpot) and MS Office.
    • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to meet customer needs.
    • Display sound judgment, discretion, and ability to preserve confidentiality
    • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple accounts while maintaining a sharp attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
    • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
    • Excellent listening, negotiating and presentation abilities.
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
    • Display strong motivation and the ability to comfortably work independently in a fast-paced environment
    • Flexible to work in non-business hours to support customers,
    • Ability to work off site and under different work conditions
    • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
